Join the St. Louis Publishers Association on August 13 to “PB&J Prep: Interview Practice with Burchell and Jo Lena”, featuring Burchell McGhee and Jo Lena Johnson. As an author, you have to tell people about your book(s): in one-on-one conversations, interviews, and speaking engagements. Those interviews come in a variety of forms, including radio, podcasts, television, blogs, and articles for newspapers and magazines. Practicing ahead of time before the invitation arrives in your inbox will position you for success.

This is a unique opportunity to practice your skills and learn how to share your story with confidence. Come ready to participate in a fun and interactive session that will “stick” with you long after the meeting ends!

She volunteers for Mindseye, an organization that serves people with visual disabilities in the Greater St. Louis region, by translating vision into audio during live performances. She provides vocal services for audio books, promos, radio, voiceovers, podcasts, and narration through her business, The Voice of Burchell.
