"Tales from the 314, Gateway Moments and First Impressions"

Submissions begin Friday, May 16^th and end Monday, June 30^th

• The anthology will be promoted through a book release event, where authors will participate in book signings and photos. 

• The book and event will also be promoted on local media.

• This anthology will be sized 6x9, perfect bound, in black and white

• Each submission will be reviewed by a panel of judges for approval

• The goal is to include 30 authors as a nod to SLPA’s 30^th Anniversary

• All submissions must be in by June 30^th 

• Open to SLPA Members only - If you are not currently a member, you have until May 30^th to be eligible for the anthology.

• We have an anonymous panel of judges to review the submissions. 

• We encourage you to submit, and be part of history!

• If you have already published or if you hope to publish, this is a chance to be part of a movement!

• After being selected, you’ll also be part of our Campaign Launch… and learn more about the publishing process as well.

• If you are selected, you’ll be informed beginning August 20^th 

• Between August 25^th and Wednesday, Sept 10 – we’ll be launching Social Media Announcements of Selected Authors

• Wednesday, Oct 8 – Selected Authors announced at October meeting (+ video, book cover)

• If you’re planning to release a book in the next 6 to 12 months, participating in the anthology is a great way to for you to enjoy the experience of being a published author, and it is a great marketing opportunity to showcase you and your upcoming book.

• Wed, November 12 – BOOK RELEASE EVENT!!!
